I have a qudrajet on my Pontiac 400 and have been diagnosing some bogging issues. I notice today that the choke plate was only rising up to 45 degrees or so. When I turned the black dial (around one full rotation) I was able to push it open up all the way and my bogging issues were gone.
I am worried however that instead of properly adjusting the choke, I just disabled it. I'll verify tomorrow, but if when I hit the throttle if the blades don't snap shut down, how do I get the choke to open up all the way?
