This thread probably belongs in the electrical forum. The most logical place to place the battery on your car would be behind the cab under the bed between the frame rails. You can create a decorative access door in the bed.
My '31 ended up in the trunk - there is NO room with Flowmaster or similar mufflers for a battery between the frame rails on the TCI Stage 3 '28-'31chassis. The gas tank is a '32 style in case you're wondering what happened to it
