Battery placement

I am trying to figure out the best and easiest place to put the battery in a 1932 Ford Vicky. Was thinking about the firewall. Any ideas? Thanks Gary

I just watchec Hot Rod TV and they put 2 batteries behind the seat in a roadster. They dhe thin type and not sealed. Must have been 2 six volt batt. hooked in series, They made 2 wood boxes for them to sit in.

Mounting a battery bracket to the firewall can be done but (In my opinion) will look bad as well as be in the way when performing routine engine maintenance.

I would suggest installing the battery under the floor (passenger side) or under the rear seat area.

Behind the back seat was the only option for me. I agree with Frisco that having it on the firewall would be ugly and in the way.

Hope this helps...
