241s

241 BB Chevy heads: 2.06/1.72" v/v s were installed on 71-72 402 and 454 365 hp 454 in 71

250 seems a little pricey for heads that have been altered in a questionable way.
Oval port heads with some bowl work (pocket porting) and a 4 angle valve grind, no port hogging, can make serious power.
Oval port heads have a sharp step in the short side radius,of the exhaust port
this can be recountered to stop that reverse flow thing that happens at some rpms.
The chamber is a good design with the plug high in the roof.
stock springs are single coil which are notorious for breaking.
Duals are standard upgrade, the exhaust rotators are not compatible and replaced with .3" spacers
I would look for a set that had the proper oval port intact, there are a lot of intake manifold choices in this respect.
You can have 2.19/1.88 v/v s installed too.
On a 9.5:1 454 with 224-230*/ 0.525" cam you can expect over 500 lbs torque and approx 400-425 hp.
