BBC 454 Mark 4 heads going on a 454 Mark 5 block?
Will Mark 4 heads go on a Mark 5 one piece new style block? I have heard there is one area that could potentially leak. This is a drag race application and I'm putting an alcohol carb on it so it should not get that hot and I should not have to run the electric water pump very long if the tune is right. Has anyone done this successfully?

I don't have the part no.s tonight. Victor-Reinz and Cometic both offer the correct conversion gaskets.

Cool Man!!! Do they offer a head gasket with a fire ring it in, it is a 12-1 engine.
