Hello there I am new here on the meassage board and i am about to put a BB in my 73 camaro do i need to change motor mounts? I put my motor mounts up to the ones that i bought from auto zone and they fit i think that the motor will just drop right in am i correct?

The mounts will probably bolt up, some years SBC and BBC mounts were the same. Have the parts man check the part number to see if it is the same as a '70-'72 Big Block Camarojust to double check but you should be OK. Hope you put Big Block springs in the front of it and have at least a 3 row radiator and preferably a 4 row. If you're intake has any rise to it whatsoever plan on a hood scoop or cowl hood if you don't already have one.

i dont know if you got ur answer but it bolts right up i got a 73 with a bbc 396
