BBC 781 heads

Ive got a 75 454 with # 781 heads. Id like to know what the cumbostion chamber size is. Mortec says 118cc... but my Federal-Mogul/SpeedPro catalogue as well as a BBC book both say 110 cc. If anyone knows for sure or has some better sources Id really like to know. John

HEADS

They will be 118 cc's but i would not assume they are right. There are alot of things that can change this size. If they are un-touched they are probably around 121 to 122 cc's real world size.

454 781 heads

I just happen to have a set of 781s on the shelf in my shop,
I checked and the felt pen is still there were i wrote 123 cc
I had checked the chamber size at the time because i was swaping to a smaller chamber 290 head.
The 791s have had there chambers polished so i guess it would be safe to say they are 120-122cc in stock form.
