BBC crank casting numbers... which is the better crank
g'day all from Aust.. thanks for all help if offered.. i am wondering what is the best big block chev crankshaft made by the chev factory.. Mark 4 only..
is the 1053 or the 5140 crankshaft better.. casting numbers 3520, 3521 & 7416

BBC crankshafts
cool cool.. i have just been offered 6 x 6223 ...4 x 3521 ... 3 x 7416 & 3 x 7115 cranks from an old old old chev man here in aust... Along with several Tall Deck blocks all std bore...
i have been inot the big blocks now for 25 years myself but have never really know the difference in the materials used to forge the cranks.. Much appricated for your reply..
