BBC Dipstick info needed

My 402 needs a new Dipstick and I need to know if a mark v Dipstick will work in a mark iv oil pan. I really don't want to use a china made chrome Dipstick. I really want a new gm one. My original one won't stay sealed in the pan and the tab is broke off were it bolts to the head, so anytime it goes over 4000rpm it starts to leak oil all over the header. If anyone can help that would be great.

I had a problem like that on my small block. The dipstick would flop all around and when I wanted to check the oil the whole tube would want to come out.
I fabricated an L shaped bracket from a piece of 16 gauge steel with a hole in one end and bolted it to the valve cover using the cover bolt and secured the bracket to the dipstick tube with a fuel line hose clamp. it don't move anymore. It's not a show off engine but it did the trick.
