BBC front accessory drive...serpentine belt???

Hey guys, just picked up a 72 Chevy C-10, 402BBC. I would like to convert over to a serpentine belt setup, but would like to go budget route, ie junkyard shopping.

I am not familiar with the BBC stuff, but know that the bellhousing patterns are the same as the SBC stuff , but whatg about the front of the motor? Will say a 95 TBI 350 front accessory drive work on my 402"?
The power steering/alt bracket? Tensioner assembly? What about the water pump?
Any tips/info greatly appreciated.

You can use everything from a 93ish Chevy pick-up or S-10 with some adaptor brackets avai;label from KWIK performance.

Let me snoop around the pc a bit and see if I can find pics of the system on my 59.

All of the pics shows up, thanks a ton. That is what I am talking about! I haven't been a fan of multiple belts, and pry bar applying tension for decades, and this new truck is no different. Belt's slipping/squealing, nothing more irritating when trying to snap the throttle and you get belt squeal instead!

Email coming..

Also, since you are saying 93ish....than that should be basically 88-95 than, if memory serves correctly as being the same set up, right?
88 would've been first year of TBI, and the serpentine, and 95 would've been last year. 96 going over to Vortec, and I know the brackets and accessories changed up some.

PeePaw,
You asked in the e--mail about alternators.

You will need to use a CS130 or a CS130D, The earlier GM alternators will not fit in the brackets.
You can use the later setup if you like (95+) where the AC compressor is on the driver side, but I do not know if there is an AC delete bracket and pulley available.

93 ish brackets do not have a mounting for the smog pump the earlier trucks had,
and they look better as well.
You will have to use a power steering pump designed for the brackets, just change the fitting in the back to use your existing hoses.

OK guys, picked up the brackets finally. Now need to get the adapter plates from KWIK performance. Can't get rid of this multiple belt setup soon enough!!!!
Thanks for all the help/tips/pics/emails/links.

Oh, to the person that kept saying he had something available...sorry, but no offense...I saw that you only had 11 posts, and that was that.
