BBC gen 6 roller cam!

Does anyone out there know what the differences are between the big block Chevrolet Gen 6 roller cam specs and will it work in a Gen 4 Block. Will a GM billet steel generation 6 roller cam /timing chain work in a gen 4 block if I use solid roller lifters, (as the gen 4 block does not have any way to secure the lifter retaining tray for the factory hydraulic roller lifters). ? Are the cam journal diameters the same? I am not very familiar with late model gen 6 BBC's. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

The Gen VI uses a stepped-nose Cam with a retainer to hold it in the Block, along with a retainer boss-I am not aware of any conversion kits to install one in a Gen V Block, so I would say no, it will not work-
