bbc head choice

Hey everyone,

I'm about to purchase Heads for my BBC 454 Mark IV, bored .030, KB Hypo( -12cc dome)Pistons, Eagle Rods and Crank. I've picked 2 possiblility's that are in my price range:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-60459/
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NAL-12363390/

Both Heads should give me a Comp ratio of around 9.5:1, and this engine will be used for a High Performance Street Application.
I'm looking for some insight, Opinions or reccomendations as this is my first engine build so I'm very new to this and am grateful for any help.
Thanks
JR

Gm

Hey JR, My choice would be the GM, with the bigger intake valves and the dual springs they just seem like the better deal. Make sure you double check your piston choice compatability w/ the semi-open chamber head design. Haven't ever tryed either head, so get plenty of opinions. That is a big chunk of change $$$. olnolan
