Bbc,initial timing(help).

Long time no visit,good to be back.have 468 bbc,duration on cam is 310,does anyone know roughly where initial timing should or might be?18° is to low btdc,i am pretty sure overal timing should hit 38°any ideas for initial timing?or how to get the happy spot?ie old school ways or no time on track must do now ideas?anything at all you gear heads might know would be welcome on my part.(h.e.l.p).
