BBC Piston Part#?

Hi all, I need some help, I have a 1974 BBC Block #3999289, Crank #7416,
Head #336781. Piston #340204-Z17. Can anyone tell me what kind of pistons are these? That is the only # I can find on them. I can not find this number anywhere. Thanks for the help...

May be of help

I'm not sure what the Z17 designation is here. As for the 340204 designation?

340204 is a GM O.E. casting number. This piston was produced for the 454 (7.4L) Chevy engine but for the years 1981-1990. Apparently your 1974 has been rebuilt. The specs are as follows:
Hypereutectic, destroked .020". Trucks 2.00" dia. head recessed. .085" deep two valve reliefs. These pistons are sized from std. through 0.060 oversize. Hope that helps.

Piston #

Thanks, That helps a lot. Are the 340204 pistons any good? I want to try and get close to 500 HP from this motor, What would be a good piston for this? I will not be useing nitrous or anything like that. Just a Holly 850.
The motor is STD bore. Thanks.
