BBC Serpentine Conversion

Hey guys. Building my Chevy 454. Mark IV. everything is done and ready, all the machine work, new parts, everything is put together, execpt for the front drive assembly.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with using a kit to make a small block serpentine set up work on a big block.

If so, what did you use? Any links would be helpful

Also any clearance issues? Radiator, Fan, A/C? ect.

The motor is being stuffed into a 1980 Pontiac Grand Lemans Safari Station Wagon. (G-body)

Thank you for all the help everyone.

This is all I have on it. Quite a bit of fabrication work involved.

I used this on my 59 gen VI 454HO
Need to get a BBC serpintine crank pulley and reverse rotation waterpump.
when you scrounge up the serpintine brackets from a 93-95 chev/GMC pick-up, be sure to include the power steering pump, and if possible the alternator.

You WILL need the PS pump pulley puller to remove the pump frrom the bracket before removing the bracket from the carcass truck.

If your BBC has 7/16" accessory mounting bolts, you will need to ream out the brackets as they are bored for a 3/8" bolt.

Everything lined up great----use a 967 belt as the 97" belt is just a hair too long.

My freind grabbed a whole setup from a 96 chevy 3500 truck , it uses the cast bracketry that bolts to the front of the block . cleaned off the flash and had it blasted and powdercoated and looks stock ( because it is on a truck ) and if you have hydro boost for the brakes if you use them .
