BBC water pump bypass hose

I have a DART intake for my BBC project engine (see my journal if you are interested), and it does not have a port for the water pump bypass hose. Should I drill and tap a port, route the hose elsewhere like one of the temp sender ports, or block the port on the pump?

Run the bypass to the heater core. If some one has a different opinion please add it in.

Type in dart intakes, and ask them.
