Post bc/cc over single stage?

I have a buddy that had his whole truck shaved up and he did'nt want to leave primer spots all over it, so they sanded the truck and primered the whole truck, but the guy that did it mixed paint into the primer to give it a medium blue color to the primer. My question is the guy that sprayed the truck past away not to long ago and we are not sure if he used single stage or bc/cc. The finish has a semi gloss look to it, so I am wondering if it is a single stage paint. Is there anyway to tell for sure if it is single stage or bc/cc? Will it hurt to spray a bc/cc over single stage?

Thanks for all your help

Tyler
