They are very easy to install, I just installed them on a 1933 Ford that i am re-working. basically you just have to know how to lay it out, and then how to cut the metal. The instructions are very straight forward and I felt complete. It's a wise move to purchase the install kit, saves time and hair. I bought mine from Rockies. they do make several different sizes to go with all the different car models, just ask any knowledgeable dealer for the right size for your project.
