Bear claws in a 1950 Ford tudor

Okay folks, I need a little help here. Hopefully someone can give me some advice. I have a 1950 Ford that has the old "rolling gear" door latches. I don't trust them a bit. I would like to put a set of bear claws in.

I just don't know which ones will fit in the package. I would like to shave the handles as well so I was looking at the Autoloc power latches. Can anyone tell me If the large ones will fit?

I like the dual claw style because they typically draw tighter in modern cars. Anyone have any advice?

The door is probably as thick or thicker than my 41 Chevy. You can see what I did to install the large latches in my 41 in my journal. Entries # 6-8, 17, & 80-84.

Thanks redsdad. My Ford has a roller latch on it verses a ramp latch like the one you show. I am not sure if there is a difference. But the images you have help some.
