bear jaw latches in 55 f100
Morning guys :
I want to replace the unsafe stock ford latches in my 55 f100. My issue is whether to use Speedway Motors slim line bear jaws or Altman bear jaw kit. The Altman kit is costly compared to Speedy Bill's prices. I have heard of clearance problem near the window channel on these f100s after installing bear jaw type latches. My plan is to use the stock inside and outside handles but without using elec. sol. I will have no way to lock the doors. Any opinions or help on this ? |

spend the money now and you will happy. I am on my second set of the cheap bear claw latches and the car is still being built. They don't hold up at all.
