Question the beast

i have a 69 chevy 4x4 the rockwell transfer case went out so i got a 205 can anyone tell me what driveshaft to put on it. and how does the steering column go back together.

does the 205 have a flange style front output our yoke style like your old one did? if its flanged just find a used core at the junkyard and take it your local machine shop to have it lengthed or shorted to what you need. also, are you sure you old t case was a rockwell? i thought the old chevs used dana spicer 18s or 20s before they went to the 205.

can't help you much on the steering column. i hate taking those apart. easier to just get another one and swap it out.

I am sure it is a rockwell t221 transfer case and i am trying to see if anyone knows about a driveshaft that is allready the right length. i am sure someone in here knows how the steering column goes back together.
