Beautiful car with 427 hemi
Has anyone seen that movie Drive, with the guy from hong kong with the implant to make him faster and its pretty much a martial arts movie with him and the black guy driving the muscle car. Well the car in the Garage where they were fixing the blown line , its was an old classic car , yellow the girl said it had a 427 hemi in it ( i know its just movies but its worth the talk) and black tented windows, what kinda car was that, that thing was beautiful...its ashamed they shot it up, his car wouldve been pretty cool hotrodded too..

Maybe they dropped a valve some time in the past and nicked the combustion chamber and increased the displacement 1cu-in.

Those were the days. In the early 60s the engine wars were wonderful. Chrysler was one-upping Ford who was one-upping Chevy. The story of the Ford cammer story is fascinating as is the story of the Chrysler 426 hemi.
Here is an old thread that discusses the hemi story in some depth. http://hotrodders.com/showthread.php...hlight=daytona |
