Viking37, first time I've seen you on here for awhile. If you're still taking requests, I got a good one for you. Take a 1976 Caddilac Elderado Convertible and make it into a 4X4 with something equivalent to a 38" tire under it.

Hi viking...I've been pursuaded by a few other members to ask ya if you are still taking requests? And if so, could you pretty please with sugar on top to take the Buick in my album and chop it and drop it? I give you artistic license on the rest...

Hey Viking.
This is Hemmigremmie. Can you get a Gremlin pic and somehow see what it would look like either blue or purple, tubbed with sidepipes and a big ole blower stickin thru the hood? Mine is tubbed with sidepipes, but its white and dont gut no blower. Thanks, HG

It is nice, isn't it. As soon as HemmiGremmie gets his 500ci pulled, I'll have the Caddy body to start building on. Look in HG's photo album for a pic. There are some rust holes along the bottom, but I'll cover those with some diamond plate welded on all around the bottom of the body. I'll have to cut the fenders to make room for the tires, but fender flares will hide those cuts. I feel this could be done on a fairly small budget if I keep my head about it. I'm still debating what 4x4 frame to use under it. Just about anyway I go, Chevy,Ford,Dodge I'll have to adjust for the wheel base. That Caddy's wheelbase is longer then a long wheelbase truck. The caddy wheelbase is approx. 126". I can do the cutting and welding of the frame. I leaning towards using a 3/4 ton Suburban frame with a 454 or a 78-79 F250 long wheelbase with a 460. Any recommendations 4 Jaw.
