Hi all, forum newbie here...looks like a cool place to hang out!
I thought it would be cool to do a couple "VIRTUAL KUSTOMZ", here are some before and after shots....(Photoshop rules!)
51 Merc Before...
VERY SAD!

51 Merc After.....
Looks sweet...chopped ...channeled...powered by a 383 stroker chevy...turbo 350 tranny...still in primer...leather and tweed interior...you get the idea..

Next..And another "VIRTUAL KUSTOM"
51 Ford (Shoebox)
Before.....
Not a bad candidate!

After........

Slammed to the ground....18" wheels...powered by a 460 ford with a C4 tranny....9" rear...MustangII front suspension...billet steering column...kustom white face guages ala Cobra.....

And....Here's another..It's a 1955 Ford RanchWagon
Before......

And After
Powered by a Chevy 502 crate motor..Row thru the gears with a Muncie m22 "Rockcrusher" transmission...Airbags for "that just right" stance...The leather interior was replaced with tweed after passenger complaints of sliding around on the seats during hard cornering..hehe..

Viking,

I must say it is not what I expected! It is sweet though, no doubt about that! You did chop and drop it a little bit though didn't you? It really looks good. I do Love that car that is for sure. Getting rid of the grill altogether was a crazy idea. I have always said that huge bumper just looks like a huge beard, you just gave my car a shave! and left a gaping mouth, totally genious and bone chilling. Defenitaly would solve the problem of having the front bumper re chromed! Thanks much. How do you do the paint Job? I would love to know. I got a copy of adobe photoshop 5. I would love to paint it black (and other colors) to see what it would look like so I can decide on a color.

Thanks again

Maybe along the lines of a Stude nose. Anything!!!!! Other than the mouth the rest is Primo!!!! BTW I love the way you do the reflection effects. Looks like it is sitting in a wet alley. Sinister.

YEAH that mouth reminds me of my Wife. Definitely needs something to close it. Stude or perhaps a Continental.

HEY Viking, this is your chance to take your Virtual Car Crafting to next level. I bought a game called MotoR CitY OnlinE, There you can race people who love cars and build them in real life. I was wondering if you could create a car for me to race in and show others what i got. The web site that has the car that i want is the web site for teh game. If you could make this for me, i would be very glad and very grateful. Thanks again. BTW, check yer profile mail.

Wow.. yeah that is what i have been dreaming of. I think shaveing the hood ornament is the only other thing I would do. I might put the flames over therear tire pannels (what the heck are those things called?).

Dude, you Rock!!! <img src="graemlins/drool.gif" border="0" alt="[drool]" />

Fender skirts, save both the grill and the hood ornament, they are very cool, no need to tossem even if you don't intend to usem. If you do anything to those hood lines I might have to come and smack ya around a bit :p <img src="graemlins/boxing.gif" border="0" alt="[boxing]" /> <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[nono]" /> :D

Hey cdf, I did this one a while ago, It's a 50 GMC, with a 48 buick grille. This is actually a rough draft of the truck I am going to build. I have aquired new parts since the pic was made so it will be a little different in real life. I know it isn't exactly what you asked for, but I figured since it already existed it wouldn't hurt to post it

I don't know anything about the process that you do to create these great phantoms. Can you marry two photos? I don't have any photos but I think if you can find a pic of an Elk and a fleetline Aerosedan maybe???

If you can Do it to it that would be greatly appreciated. I think I might like to make that my project if it looks good.

Thanks, Al <img src="graemlins/crash.gif" border="0" alt="[crash]" />
