I've seen the high dollar rods in the magazines and the trailer queens. I know they raise the bar and give us somehing to strive for but doing it our way is the back yard rodders way. Most of us don't have deep pockets and have figured out we can do it ourselves (with help from time to time). Thanks to the guys on here and some friends down the street I've done things I never thought I could do. And I'm enjoying the heck out of it. It may not be a perfect show rod. But I'm going to enjoy it to the max. I built it with my own two hands. It may not be perfect, but it's perfectly fun for me. I might even have to build another when I 'm done.

I haven't logged in for some time now but the last time I did 90% of the posts and threads were started and ended by the same two people.
Nothing like a little variety!  Oh well, good guys over there just some poor leadership of the "pack" and some serious manipulation of the "leader" by Henry Highrise. Reminds me of a tool and die maker I used to work with who used to tell tales to the boss and "inform" him of what guys in the shop were saying at break time. I had a good laugh when I told each guy in the shop something different in "confidence" just so I could see who was the culprit. Imagine the bosses surprise when he called me into the office and told me he couldn't have homosexuals leering at the other employees in the shop and trying to pick them up. It disturbed the work environment and production apparently. Then I told him I was married...with kids. Even showed him pictures.  Ain't I a stinka!
