first thing to do, read theKNOWLEDGE BASE. Then, ask away. but there is a huge amount of information discussed in there. enjoy!

try and read through this, and if its not here, and not in the knowledge base, its not worth knowing |

2 hints
1/...The most inportant part of painting a car is ....preperation....every little flaw shows in the bodywork. 2/...Take your time, the most important part of bodywork is .....Patience. If you get frustrated, lay off of it for a while.

Make sure the body is 100% perfect. Also you could use a good sealer just to be on the safe side.Make sure you have a good water seperator on the compressor.Don't try to save a buck by buying cheap products, there is a reason the cheap stuff is cheap.Make sure you have deep sand scratches out before you paint.And...good luck and have fun!!!

oh yeah, forgot to mention. the dirt wont rise off the floor or come off the shelves. 95 % of it it will come from your clothes!!! so be sure to buy one of those lint free disposeable coveralls (clearcoat will overspray is also prety hard to get out of your hair by the way) so get one with an integral hood...
