belt diagram

I changed from a two belt system to a serpentine belt system using mostly 1984 brackets on my 1934 street rod with a Ford 302 v-8. It has AC, power steering and electric fan. Now I am having overheating problems at idle. I think I may have reversed the rotation of my water pump. How can I know for sure and what do I do to correct the problem?

You probly did. On Chevies the serp, dr. engines the water pump is different. I assume Ford may be the same. So, you may have to get a newer pump made for sep. dr.
