The rise in the floor pan at the back of your pickup cab will make it hard to find a direct fit from a Blazer or Sub. They have a much flatter floor than your pickup. You will have to modify the seat brackets to make it fit.
There were a few of these pickups sold with bucket seats, but they are not common. Bruce |

Datsun Z seats have a thin back that should work pretty well. 240Z, 260Z, 280Z. That's the trick with putting buckets in a pickup, choosing a seat that doesn't put the steering wheel in your chest because of the thickness of the seat back.

Even if you managed to get the stock buckets from another pick-up---
not an easy task. They mount differently than the bench Welding will be involved. Stock buckets actually sit a bit low in the cab. I had a rough time extracting a set of these from a pick-up a couple of years ago. They are still sitting in my shed and the console is laying on the seat of the 79. |

I just put poly racing seats in my 83 Chevy spaced up about 3".
My 90 chevy had a 60/40 seat so I cut 12" out of the center of my right side seat and made bucket seats and then made a console. Modifying seat brackets is not that difficult, just take accurate measurements. You can buy slider from JEGS for $35. http://www.jegs.com/p/RCI/RCI-Poly-S...63818/10002/-1 |

RAYFIN, yes I would like to see that too. I did see your 83 with the racing seats. The link was to the custom Upholstery for Motorcycle seats, and I must say that is legit work. I searched for RAYFIN on facebook, but no luck. Can you post the link, if you have pictures of the 83.
And the Poly Seats look ok, that may be an option for me. Thanks. |
