bending sheet metal

i am looking for a sheet metal break for a home garage. any tips on making one or where i can buy one? thanks paul

Harbour freight has them cheap,eastwood has them good.

I don't know if you have any TSC's in your area but if you do they have a pretty decent one on a stand.

Go to speedwaymotors.com and there is a book on fabricating shop equipment that has details on how to build your own..

I made my own with a long piece of angle iron bolted to a steel table. Uses manual labour, but it works.

Yup I made my own too. used a set of bed rails, (Free angle iron) a couple of old door hinges and some 1" square tube I had laying around.

Didn't take a picture, but I have one of the cowl scoop I built. The steel frame that I have the hood on is the steel table. Just bolted a piece of angle to the top of it, put the sheet metal in between, clamped it down and bent down.................
