I also cut the car in half right through the doors, roof and frame all around and shortened it 32 inches and then I gas welded the whole car back together doors, roof frame floors and this took longer than the exhaust work. I went through a lot of Oxygen and acetylene.. the good ole days,,never knew MIG welders were around couldnít afford one any way.. lots of you younger Hot rodders donít know what it was like years ago we didnít roll in cash and parts and chrome everything. My 1st dirt car the roll cage was made of Cow stanchions from a barn Fire,some of you guys have no idea????
