bent axle
I have a 72 chevelle 10 bolt with a bent axle. Is this a repairable item,or should I look for a new axle? It is in a 54 Chevrolet truck with a low HP 283 and 350 turbo. I can probably figure out how to remove it,but any help would be great.The wheel runs out of true.

Did you bend the housing also?

change it out
Those axles are not too hard to find and once metal has been bent it has lost some strength..not worth it to try and fix..IMHO..
