Bent rocker arm stud

Just recieved a rebuilt motor from an Ebay seller. Motor looks nice, but one rocker arm stud is bent. Also broke the push rod and nicked the top of the valve. This is a stock pressed in stud on a 302 Ford motor. Can I remove the stud with the head still on the motor and press another in? I think the head will have to come off though, to check the valve to make sure it's not bent. thanks

i don't know that much about fords.....on a Small block chevy once the stud has worked its way loose, you really have to go to screw in studs or it may walk on you again...so if you remove the stud i guess the same logic would apply....on a SBC when you go from pressed in studs to screw in studs you really need to machine the boss flat that the stud gets screwed down.....so i'm not sure how you can do that in the car. perhaps the ford guys can give you some specific advice that may help you out.
