I remember "Corvette Summer" was pretty lame though

"Elanore" was sticker free. Sorry if I offended with the rice burner comment but I can still not like them, you have no idea of how many Civics & Accords here have a teeny tiny exhaust pipe that dumps into this huge coffee can muffler so they sound like a lawnmower on steroids

After the movie, Steve Castilli bought the car and has campaigned it in nostalgia drags for many, many years. Even won national AA/GS championship a couple of times. He gives out autographed pictures of the car at the drags and is very proud to publicize that it is the movie car. Always a few copies on ebaY. Can get it at rod runs for $20 or so. |

car movies
there was this movie in the 80's where this geeky kid wanted to be cool for some reason and got all mixed up with the town preppie/jock...anywaysthe jocky kid had a porcha and the geeky kid wad one of his nerdy friends put a greyhound buss engin in to a caddy convertable or somthing like that..any ways they raced each other and it seemed cool at the time...i dont know the name of it tho...cali kid was cool to...at least the older movies were more realistic.....not shifting in to third gear at 120 mph..and jumping out of the 2nd story garage and not ******* canning the body work...cobra way cool too.
road warrior had a couple of cool cars in it with chase scenes |

I vote for Bullitt and the original Gone in 60 seconds.

All my favorites have been mentioned, but I was just remembering what I thought was the cheesiest moment in movies, anyone remember the movie Weird Science where he is trying to go fast and says 'Hang On I'm gonna turn on the blower!!' What a cool option. What was the Ron Howard movie where he is getting chased in the 68 Camaro across the country?

American Graffiti, the original Gone in 60 seconds, and my all time favorite is Blues Brothers.I was lucky enough to stumble upon the original Gone in 60 sec. in VHS in the dollar rack years ago and have watched it several times and still watch it now I want it on DVD.Maindrian Pace was the man!93 cars destroyed.....the remake isn't so bad either.
![]() I almost forgot "The Car" havent seen or heard anything about it in years,it was about a possesed Lincoln that ran over everybody and the only safe place was the cemetary, pretty corny but I like that kinda stuff. |

I'm pretty sure that movie was "My Science Project." I love that GTO, however it didn't seem all that fast.

That's right Weird Science was with Kelly LeBrock. We were talking about it at work the other day. Almost as nice as a GTO. The Blues Brothers has to be an all time best. Talking about a girl Christine was pretty cool too.

It's one of the few movies where the wipers go from the top of the windshield to the bottom (different years), the steering column changes scene to scene, the steering wheel changes frequently, and the AMC cop car sports a 426 Hemi! |
