Post "Best" Car Story

Ok guys, here is your chance to brag on how great YOUR car is.

30 years ago, when I was young and stupid (now I'm OLD and stupid) I had a 1968 Plymouth Sport Fury with a 383 in it. One night a bunch of us were sitting in a bar drinking beer and bragging about how great our cars were. A short time later a Bill and Jim left, and about 10 minutes later I also left. When I got out to the parking lot they were just standing there, obviously waiting for someone (me.) I said, "see ya later," hopped in my car, fired it up and drove away. They watched me drive away in amazement. The next morning Bill called and told me to check my coil wire. Seems he and Jim the night before, unplugged it! I opened my hood and sure enough, it was unplugged, but laying along side the distributor cap. The spark was jumping out of the end of the wire, would shoot up to the top of the cap, over the insulation, then down into the hole! They never said Plymouths were junk after that!!!

Back in high school I had a '70 Olds Cutlass with the Rocket 350. The engine was tired with over 100K miles on it.
...went bracket racing one saturday night and ran a very consistent (but slow) 17.96 ET four times in a row. I have not ever been able to get down to the 100th of a second before that, or since.
