Well a four hole spacer is good for more bottom end and mid range torque and using a open spacer will give less on bottom end but will give more in the top end range of things but it will also lean your carb out on bottom end as well. Some times they make a difference and sometimes they don't. I tired both on my engine and a four hole was excellent for me as I need bottom end grunt over top end. Since you have a dual plane intake I would go with a four hole.
