Best coil to use?
Hello, I am thinking of replacing my coil on my sbc 350 mallory hei distributor, and was curious what is the rule for getting the best coil. I also have the msd ignition box I have not installed yet, so just looking for the best combination of parts for max performance. Thanks.

install the msd and use the complete package. Don't mix-and-match parts or your just asking for problems. After you install it, be sure to read your plugs
for correct heat range. Have you tried the new E-85 spark plugs yet? I've heard nothing bad about them yet. Expensive, yes but, worth the money. You can put the best ignition on but if the plugs ain't right, your just wasting money. If you want to keep the mallory, use all mallory components (rule-of-thumb).
