best grit sandpaper

whats the best grit sandpaper to use after 2k primer to get ready for top coat,thanks

Block your 2k with 180-220, then sand with 400-600 prior to base.

at work I like doing the first round of priming with 120 then reguide coat it and then 150 over and over until the first area of metal pokes up. I think it's absolutely crucial to sand the guide coat multiple times, especially on your first round of primer. If you hog on your primer with 3 coats for the first round and you guide coat and re-guide coat multiple times you will make things a lot easier the next round. If you don't mind cutting past the primer on the first round you probably won't cut thru on your next.
