Best (head) gasket scraper?

Hello all

As a matter of preference, in everyone's opinion - what is the best gasket scraper? Especially when it comes to dealing with scraping off the pesky graphite residue of an old head gasket stuck on the block or cylinder head?

I am mostly curios of what others are using to scrape off the head gasket remains from the block. As far as the heads go, i personally always send the heads to get checked by a machine shop, and have them cleaned and cut before they get set atop of new head gaskets.

I've used razor blades at various angles against the deck, scotch-brite pads, and even plastic ice scrapers (so i dont gouge the block). What are you guys using?
