Post Best place to buy a rebuilt 700r tranny???

I am sure a bunch of you guy's have had some bad and good dealings with rebuilt transmissions.

I am needing a 700r for a ZZ4 engine and would like to know of a reliable builder at a FAIR price.

I know i can get a 700r about anywhere but would like to get my money's worth without any troubles.....I have found 700r tranny's from $595.00 to $1800.00 price range.

Thanks

I think the BEST trans that you can get is a Jasper. I was going to get one for mine, But after getting it installed and ordering it I was going to be about 300 bucks over budget.Jasper makes trans for NASCAR. Steve

Check out some of the rodding or truckin magazines...lots of advertisements. I see Phoenix Trans at <a href="http://www.phoenixtrans.com" target="_blank">www.phoenixtrans.com</a> in several mags or <a href="http://www.fbperformance.com." target="_blank">www.fbperformance.com.</a>
My disclaimer is that I've never used either one of them.
