I know all the Glasurit is top notch.

BASF has just kinda gone away and don't see it much anymore.
If I can ask what is Diamonts best clear now for allover work?

Thanks
Barry

I use PPG's concept...3 coats. I sand w/1500 grit. I then spray w/ccthe next day or so. I'm handicaped & can not spray bb/cc in a day.

This is also great w/fames because you do not have to rush...you can spray the flames the 2nd day.

It is critical that DX84 is mixed in to enhance and "lock" the gloss. It is often passed on and gloss is lost. The stuff is a 4 part combonation and in the right conditions can't be beat.

check this SS black looks chrome...

2 parts CLV (DCC9300 )
1 part DCX61
5-10% Dt reducer (adjust viscosity *temp judgement item)
1 oz. per sprayable quart DX84or DX87

oil, dust, water free conditions a must.

Heres a couple other projects where a gloss single stage was called for,

Black s/s

Ive used the PPG 9300 concept black on 3 cars with no clear added as you do not need it in my opinion. Ive sprayed on up to 5 coats for aggresive color sanding & buffing (another topic). Many have seen and still cant get over the fact that there is no clear on the cars. Extreme depth and very high show quaility, youll love it beleve me....
