Cheap, fast, lightweight, great handling, and lots of hot rodding potential? Mazda RX-7 with a healthy dose of V8. The kids seem to like them. Most any RX-7 can be had for cheap w/ a blown rotary engine. A well built car with lots of potential, it's almost as if they were made to accept a V8.
