best trans cooler for 50 bucks

I have a 400-450 hp 357sbc with a TH350 tranny and 3,000 jegs converter. I was wondering what the best trans cooler kit for this application is, that I can get for around 50bucks. I look in jeg's and there are a lot for 50 or a little less, but I'm not sure what to get. I was thinking the perma cool thinline cooler kit, I think it's a 24,000gvw.

I like the stacked plate type coolers better then the tube & fin type. B&M is one brand that sells stacked plate coolers. Get the highest GVWR you have money for.

Go to your local U-haul depot, they have a good selection of Trans coolers.
Or, just find a pickup with one in a boneyard.

Try O'Reilly's

I just got a stacked plate type name brand cooler
(Hayden I think? - good memory here ;-( )
for about that, had the hose & connections with it,
was their 2nd highest rated cooler - something like
7 or 8k lbs rating.

They're also online.
