best way

i want to lower my 51 pickup, but i also want to keep the straight axle under it. i want to go down at least 2 in would be nice to get a little more than that. my ? is what would be the best way to achieve this or the cheapest best way?

Classic Performance Products ( www.classicperform.com ) in Anaheim CA has a 3" dropped axle that's a bolt in.
