best way to identify a rear end ratio

Hi guys, i have a GM 10 bolt rear out of a 67 firebird and i need to find out what the rear end ratio is. What is the easiest way? the cover is off and the rear end is on my bench, gears exposed. i tried the serch function but i didnt come up with much. thanks for your time

Divide the number of teeth on the ring gear by the number of teeth on the pinion. ala, 37 divided by 9 = 4.11.

The Ring & Pinion tooth count #'s should be stamped on the Ring gear also.
