I'm working on a '41 sedan and have a MII front with 2 1/2" dropped spindles. I just put the fenders on last weekend to look for tire to fender clarance with 255 X 16's on it. You can see several pics of it in my journal to judge if it'd be low enough for you. There's about 1" more clearance under the crossmember than a quart of
paint . My rear suspension still needs the lowering blocks (I have a set of 2 1/2" blocks), I hope to have them in this weekend if my u bolts get here.
I can't get any lower myself, we live half a mile off pavement on a gravel drive, LOL,,,
