BG Mighty Demon 850 (no choke) suddenly started to get real rich, fuel out of the exhaust and lots of fuel smell...

it was working GREAT when suddenly this happened,what would be the cause ?

it's on a 1981 496 Stroker BB Corvette and Victor Jr. air gap intake and Edelbrock RPM performer heads , thanks

floats might be stuck, tap on the float bowl lightly and see if that does it
or you may have a piece of something stuck in the needle/seat

Do BGs have power valves? If it does then it could be blown. Did your engine backfire or do anything abnormal before it started dumping fuel?

BG's have power valve blow out protection, most likely got crap stuck in one of the needle/seat assemblies, typical problem for BG and Holleys
