BG Street Demon-drivability

We run a BG street demon on a 408 (351W) Ford in our class 8 desert racing truck. I need some ideas on how to make this carb run in rough and bouncy conditions. Rough running causes the engine to flood and stall. BG tech support has never responded to any of my requests for help so I guess I'm on my own..Any ideas would be appreciated.

if you havent tried it yet, i'd first try lowering the fuel floats to the BOTTOM of the sight window. at first, i originally left it alone from the factory and it ran fine. one day, after a hard acceleration and braking, my engine stalled and it ended up being the floats being too high. for some reason, the floats became VERY high, to the point where it was just dumping fuel into the carb at idle. after lowering the floats to the bottom of the sight glass, everything was fine. if memory serves me correctly, i believe bg says to put the fuel at the middle to the top of the glass... but in any track race i'd been in after adjusting it lower, i have never had a problem

Don't show having any messages from you.

What model/size carburetor are you using, and what problems are you having?

BG customer support

Finally hooked up with BG tech support and they have suggested road race floats, spring loaded needle and seat and longer vent tubes. I've ordered all of these through Speedomotive and presently am awaiting delivery.
