Post big block 454

some one told me that there is a place building flowed iron heads out of austrilia for around 800 for the pair does any one know who these people are and also i got a 454 out of a truck and if i cant get after market heads for a decent price (under a grand) i would like to get some car heads that are workable i just dont know what numbers to look for i have never ventured into the world of bigblocks ive always built small blocks so any info would help

the company is out of new zealand, they offer the pro series of iron and aluminum heads, Jegs and Speedway carry them

They are called Pro Topline, and they supposedly outflow Dart, World Products, etc. <img src="graemlins/boxing.gif" border="0" alt="[boxing]" /> In my opinion if their flow charts hold true, they would be a VERY good deal. I have seen their flow charts before, but not sure where I got them. They are probably on their website. www.procylinderheads.com. Good luck!!

Oh, by the way, they only come in rectangular ports!! <img src="graemlins/spank.gif" border="0" alt="[spank]" />

as for your question about stock heads. look for 049 or 781 (if my memory srves me correct) these were the best castings to come out of the factoy.
