big block chevy 390 heads
I am looking for help with my combo I have a set of 390 stock casting bbc heads and I was wondering would they do any good when fully work to the max and make good horsepower and torque on a 396/402 stroked to a 434 I don't really have a cam in mind but looking towards a solid roller

Yes they can work very well for you with the right preperation.
Start by ccing the chambers. The production heads vary a lot.
