Question Big Block Chevy ... How much does a block weigh

Hey Y'all.

I was wondering how much a bare big block BLOCK weighs for shipping.

Thanks

Rob

I remember when I was young and stupid, I carried a 396 block down my parents basement stairs by myself......... .........Friggin' heavy. And I wonder why my back was sore after I worked on my truck this morning............................

Yea I had a 454 that my mom did not like in the garage {what a stoopid place for a motor}

So I humped it up a flight of stairs in one shot .
To my bed room {with the water bed they were afraid would go thru the floor}
"young dumb & full of **m"
I was a force to be reckoned with back then , more so when some one got under my skin

I moved that motor for 10 years & then had to sell it or throw it in a dumpster .
The guy I sold it too said it dyno'ed chose to
600 HP
best $100 he ever spent!

Now my own Body kicks my own arse every minuet of every day

Now where is that flux capacitor so I can go back & not be stupid.

Wanna come with Poncho?
